• Vieregge, the small, dreamy harbour village with a marina, is located in the north-west, the most scenic part of the island of Rügen.
• Nestled in the nature reserve on the Breetzer Bodden.
• Here you will find peace and quiet and can recover from the stress of everyday life with extensive hikes or bicycle tours.
• It is also possible to hire a boat directly from the marina (driving licence free) for boat trips across the Breetzer Bodden and even as far as Breege - the Breetzer Bodden is a very good area for anglers.
• Shopping facilities (small corner shop) and restaurants can be found in Neuenkirchen, 4 km away, or in Gingst approx.
• 12 km - alternatively in the district town of Bergen on Rügen approx.

• The island of Hiddensee can be reached by excursion boat from Schaprode (13 km away).
