• Senj is a historic town on the upper Adriatic.
• Its landmark is the Nehaj Fortress, built in 1558 and occupied by the Uskoks in the Middle Ages.
• We also recommend a visit to the town walls with the Lipica and Leo X towers, the Romanesque cathedral and the monument to the 45th parallel.
• Especially in July and August, the holiday resort delights visitors with its many traditional festivals and other cultural events.
• Towards the end of July, the Days of the Uskoks are celebrated.
• Excursions are offered to the islands opposite Senj, with taxi boat trips to Krk, Sveti Grgur, Prvić, Rab and Goli Otok.
• A visit to the Plitvice Lakes National Park is highly recommended.
