• The Sestriere Olympic Village was used in 2006 to host athletes during the Winter Olympics, for which Sestriere was the most important centre, hosting all downhill skiing disciplines,
• Sestriere is an Alpine pass at an altitude of 2000 m. that joins Val di Susa and Val Chisone.
• Nearby, we have Val Argentera (from Sauze di Cesana) and Val Troncea (19.9 km) from Pragelato), which are beautiful valleys that can be travelled in winter on cross-country skis and in summer with wide roads and trails leading to the Troncea refuge (1,915 m) or the Alpe Plana refuge (2,090 m).
